I have the attention span of a gnat when it comes to meditation. The moment I sit down to meditate or pray I can see the checkered flag waving, the start of the racing thoughts flooding my mind. Meditation fail. I am working on an Art therapy online class. My teacher posted a blog post I can share about Zentangles. I’ve done several of them now. Not a complete success but a big improvement for my meditation time. However, if I do more than one a day it becomes a chore instead of time to slow down let my thoughts go into a holding pattern while I draw a Zentangle then when I finish my thoughts are zipping around again.
