Train to use the tools in your toolbox. I started with practicing with my counselor. Then I practiced on a person that was truly out to get me fired. If the experiment went badly I didn’t worry because I wasn’t building a relationship, I was learning to protect myself from those that wish to do me harm. I was reading my Facebook this morning and these words jumped out at me: Search out the ideas, actions and emotions that benefit you and your team. Then train these principles to exhaustion.

You always need the right tools for the task at hand. And in a dark treacherous world filled with uncertainty you must plan for the worst and hope for the best. Search out the ideas, actions and emotions that benefit you and your team. Then train these principles to exhaustion. Then train some more. When you’re certain of yourself and your capabilities then and only then are you ready to wage War. Prepare yourself. OOOUUUTTT #Froglogic
I am searching out tools to add to my toolbox, I need to practice using them. I’ll continued with more toolbox ideas through out next year. I’ll share what I learn. I will practice and share what I learn from it. However, for this to be effective for you, the reader, choose which tools you think will work for you, try them out, practice to exhaustion, then practice some more. Looking forward to the new year, how about you?
